Chittoor (Andhra Pradesh), Jan 29 (ANI): In an unexpected incident, five students of a government school have suffered minor injuries after acid was accidentally spilled on them in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor on Monday. This incident took place at Cherlopalli ZP High School of Tirupati Rural Mandal in Chittoor district. MR Palli police station Sub inspector (SI) Eswaraiah explained that around 50 students of 8th class were attending digital lab at around 4:00 pm and the lights were put off in the room for digital projection. Some students accidentally hit an acid bottle that was kept in a corner. The acid spilled on total five students. Local people immediately shifted them to a private hospital in Tirupati. One student got discharged; while rest four students are undergoing medical treatment. The children met with minor injuries which is of no much harm, said the police. They have recorded the statement of school authorities. Further proceedings in this case will take place by police laterwards.
