Asansol (West Bengal), Mar 30 (ANI): Following violence and clashes over Ram Navami celebrations in West Bengal’s Asansol, Section 144 is still continued in the region. Security forces, including the Rapid Action Force (RAF) have also been deployed with the police keeping in view the law and order situation in the region. The holy celebrations, on Sunday, had turned sour after clashes erupted in various parts of Bengal leaving one dead and several injured. Meanwhile, BJP President Amit Shah has constituted a four-member committee to visit affected areas in Asansol and submit a report. OM Mathur, Shahnawaz Hussain, Roopa Ganguly and BD Mathur are members of the committee.
