Chennai, Dec 06 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday paid last respects to the departed Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa at Rajaji Hall in Chennai. Prime Minister Modi offered condolences and also paid floral tribute to Jayalalithaa. The PM will not be attending the funeral ceremony. The Central Government has declared one-day mourning after the death of Jayalalithaa. It has also decided to accord state funeral to the departed leader. National Flags at all government buildings are flying at half mast. All the ceremonial functions have been cancelled.
