Agartala (Tripura), Jun 09 (ANI): President Ram Nath Kovind handed over new LPG connections to 20 women, under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY), at Raj Bhavan in Tripura’s Agartala. Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb was also present at the event. PMUY was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the year 2016 and 10 crore new connections have been added since then. The PMUY is said to be one of the most successful schemes of the Modi government.
