Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Dec 2 (ANI): 33 years after Bhopal Gas Tragedy, one of the deadliest industrial disasters of this era, survivors continue to demand adequate compensation from the government. The survivors narrated their ordeal of the tragedy. One of the survivors Leela Bai said her daughter was intensely affected by the gas leak and passed away at the age of 30. She claimed that no aid has been provided to her so far. She also demands justice by punishing the people behind the disaster. Social Activist Rachna Dhingra accused the government of not helping the survivors. The Gas leak at the Union Carbide plant in Bhopal on Dec 2-3 in the year 1984 caused more than 20,000 deaths over a time period.
