Patna (Bihar), Jan 25 (ANI): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar advocated for caste based census as the solution for the issue of reservation in the country. While delivering a speech during Karpuri Jayanti in Bihar’s Patna, the CM said that caste based census would provide the reality of population under reservation. “We have a demand and that is justifiable. The population is increasing and with that the population of SCs/STs is also growing but the limit on their reservation is only 50%. The most important solution for this is, since the nation has become independent there has not been, if cast based census takes place in the nation then the reality of reservation would come to fore.”
