तेलंगाना के मुख्यमंत्री केसीआर ने रायथू समवाय समिति को संबोधित किया

Hyderabad, Feb 26 (ANI): Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao addressed Rythu Samanvaya Samiti conference at Rajendranagar Jayashankar Agriculture University. Speaking at the conference, the CM said that the Telangana government will allocate Rs. 12,000 crores for farmers in the agriculture budget under the farmers investment support scheme (FISS). Under the scheme, every farmer will be given Rs. 4,000 per acre from the Kharif and Yasangi season. He also said that the government would provide assistance to farmers as their conditions became adverse due to which they committed suicides and were in distress as the agriculture sector was neglected by the governments in the pre-bifurcation period. He also said there are some misconceptions among some politicians about the FISS scheme. It was thought that the crop investment assistance was to be repaid by the beneficiary and the government clarified that it was non-recoverable assistance intended to bail out farmers of their financial positions.
