Ayodhya (U.P.), Dec 04 (ANI): The Supreme Court will begin the final hearing on centuries-old Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute on December 5. On September 30, 2010, the Allahabad High Court had ordered dividing the disputed land at the site equally between Ram Lalla, Nirmohi Akhara and Sunni Wakf Board. All three challenged the order before the top court. Meanwhile, spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar had tried to mediate the dispute, offering an out-of-court solution. The solution was rejected on various religious grounds. Last month the Shia Central Waqf Board offered a new proposal to the centuries old conflict suggesting a Ram temple in Ayodhya and a mosque in Lucknow. Shia Board’s proposal was rejected by several Muslim bodies.
