East Godavari (Andhra Pradesh), Aug 17 (ANI): A RedMi Note 4 smartphone reportedly exploded in the pocket of a user in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. The resident of Ravulapalem identified as Bhavana Suryakiran was riding on his bike when the phone exploded and caught fire in his pocket. Passerby had to help him to pull the phone out of his pocket as it had got stuck there. It is not the first time Xiaomi’s cutting edge RedMi Note 4 blast case has been reported. Earlier, the company had blamed the third party charger. The company is investigating the matter.
