New Delhi/Patna, June 16 (ANI): Petrol price has been slashed by Rs 1.12 per litre and diesel by Rs 1.24 per litre with effect from today, the last of the fortnightly revisions after which daily revision in fuel prices will be implemented. Today, diesel and petrol prices will be revised in sync with any movement in international oil rates. Prices will change at 6am everyday depending on movement in cost of the previous day. However, the residents of Delhi and Patna welcomed the decision of the Center to revise the rate on daily bases. Currently, Petrol will cost Rs65.48 a litre in Delhi on Friday as against Rs66.91 per litre.
