छठ पूजा के नजदीक आते ही लोगों को अपने घर जाने की प्रबल इच्छा होने लगती है. हो भी क्यों न छठ पर्व नहीं बल्कि महापर्व है खास कर बिहार, झारखंड, बंगाल एवं पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश में इसे बेहद शानदार तरीके से मनाया जाता हैं. ऐसे में भारी संख्या में लोग अपने घर की ओर जा रहे हैं. ट्रेनों में जबरदस्त भीड़ देखने को मिल रही है. टिकटों के लिए लंबी-लंबी कतारें देखने को मिल रही है. वेटिंग लिस्ट बेहद लंबी है ऐसे में क्या एसी और क्या जेनरल सभी में लोग लटक-लटक कर जाने को मजबूर हैं. लोग अपनी जान जोखिम में डाल कर यात्रा कर रहें हैं. ट्रेंन में बैठने की बात तो छोड़ दिजिए खड़े रहने के लिए जंग लड़नी पड़ रही है. रेलवे के सारे इंतजाम कम पड़ गए हैं.
As Chhath Puja approaches, people start feeling a strong desire to go to their homes. Why not, Chhath is not a festival but a great festival, especially in Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal and Eastern Uttar Pradesh, it is celebrated in a very grand manner. In such a situation, a large number of people are going towards their homes. A huge crowd is being seen in the trains. Long queues are being seen for tickets. The waiting list is very long, hence people are forced to wait and see whether it is AC or General. People are traveling risking their lives. Forget about sitting in the train, one has to fight a battle to stay standing. All the arrangements of the Railways have fallen short.
