NPS vs Old Pension Scheme: झारखंड की हेमंत सोरेन सरकार ने पुरानी पेंशन योजना को बहाल कर दिया है. इसके लिए आवेदन भी आने लगे हैं. दावा किया जा रहा है कि पुरानी पेंशन योजना कर्मचारियों के हित में थी. नयी पेंशन योजना से उन्हें नुकसान हो रहा था. सबसे पहले कांग्रेस शासित प्रदेश राजस्थान ने पुरानी पेंशन योजना को बहाल किया. बाद में झारखंड सरकार ने भी ऐसा ही किया. आखिर नयी पेंशन योजना और पुरानी पेंशन योजना में क्या अंतर है? क्यों झारखंड सरकार ने यह फैसला लिया. इस बारे में झारखंड के वित्त मंत्री डॉ रामेश्वर उरांव कहते हैं कि अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी की सरकार की ओर से लायी गयी ‘नयी पेंशन योजना’ बहुत अच्छी थी. उसमें कोई बुराई नहीं थी. राजनीतिक कारणों से झारखंड में पुरानी पेंशन योजना को लागू करना पड़ा. 15 वर्ष के बाद इसका असर देखने को मिलेगा. राज्य सरकार पर वित्तीय बोझ बढ़ेगा. श्री उरांव कहते हैं कि केरल में बजट का 90 फीसदी पैसा सिर्फ वेतन और पेंशन पर खर्च हो जाता है. क्या सरकार सिर्फ सरकारी कर्मचारियों के लिए है? अगर सारे पैसे वेतन और पेंशन में खर्च हो जायेंगे, तो आम लोगों को क्या मिलेगा?

Mr Oraon says that 90 percent of the budget money in Kerala is spent only on salaries and pensions. Is government only for government employees? If all the money is spent on salary and pension, then what common people will get?
