Gaya (Bihar), Sep 29 (ANI): Devotees in large numbers arrived in Gaya and offered ‘Pind Daan’ prayers for salvation of their ancestors. Gaya is famous for the half-month long ‘Pitru Paksha’ festival. People from across India and globe reached Gaya for the procession. According to the Hindu mythology, it is one of the most sacred duties of people to do ‘Pind Daan’ for their ancestors.
