Deoria (Uttar Pradesh), Aug 07 (ANI): In Deoria shelter home case, District Probation Officer (DPO) has been terminated and four others have been arrested. Amit Kishor, District Magistrate said, “High level enquiry is going on in the case. DPO is terminated. 4 people have been arrested and others will be arrested soon. DPO made a mistake, the license of this shelter home was revoked last year but still girls were sent to this shelter home. I have asked for the medical report to be submitted.” On Sunday, police arrested a couple and rescued 24 girls from a shelter home in Uttar Pradesh’s Deoria after a girl escaped from the shelter home and informed the police how they were all treated like servants.
