New Delhi, Mar 29 (ANI): Union Minister of Law and Justice Ravi Shankar Prasad on Thursday confirmed that his ministry will file a review petition on the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989 (SC/ST Act) in the Supreme Court. Interacting with the mediapersons, Prasad said they have taken note of the directives of the Supreme Court and will soon do the needful. He said many important steps in the field of education, employment and north-eat were taken during Wednesday’s cabinet meeting.
