New Delhi, Dec 07 (ANI): After Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar sparked controversy by calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi a ‘neech aadmi’ (low-level person), Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi stated that he expect Aiyar to apologise for what he said. Gandhi took to his twitter handle and posted, “BJP & PM routinely use filthy language to attack Congress party. Congress has a different culture & heritage. I do not appreciate the tone and language used by Mr Mani Shankar Aiyer to address the PM. Both the Congress and I expect him to apologise for what he said”. Aiyar’s comments were in apparent response to PM Narendra Modi subtly attacking Jawaharlal Nehru at a rally in Gujarat earlier today.
