Mumbai (Maharashtra), Apr 25 (ANI): He might have vowed to never attend or accept an award but the ‘Perfectionist of Bollywood’ Aamir Khan made an exception for the legendary songstress Lata Mangeshkar. The ‘Dangal’ actor, who was invited by the Nightingale of India, recently, attended the Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards, held to commemorate her father’s 75th death anniversary. The actor was honoured with Vishesh Puraskar for his outstanding work in ‘ Dangal’ at the prestigious ceremony. The ‘ PK’ star had last attended an award show 16 years ago at the Academy Awards when ‘Lagaan’ was nominated in the Best Film category.
