Midnapur (West Bengal), April 23 (ANI): A Muslim cleric from West Bengal’s Midnapur has allegedly received a death threat over phone after he released a fatwa against singer Sonu Nigam for making derogatory remarks against Muslim prayer ‘azaan’. The cleric claimed that he received the text message from an unknown number which threatened him and his family if he dares to speak anything against the singer. He has written a letter to Commissioner of Police seeking for an investigation in this regard.
