Rozda (Jaipur), Mar 20 (ANI): Rozda village in Jaipur district of Rajasthan witnessed a unique polling and enormous number of people coming out to vote for liquor ban. Not even men but women turnout was significantly larger during voting. Jankranti Manch president Pooja Chabra threw light on the event and said that. Earlier, villagers staged several protest against liquor, but the government refused to fulfill their demand. The villagers then approached the High Court and it approved villagers to conduct voting on Sunday to decide whether alcohol should be banned in the village or not. The voting was conducted under heavy police presence to stop any kind of untoward incident.
