New Delhi, Mar 01 (ANI): Upon being questioned about India’s stand post the Kansas killing, Ministry of External Affairs ( MEA) on Wednesday said the Indian Government is closely engaging with the authorities in other countries for ensuring the safety of their citizens. “Safety of Indians world over is of highest priority for the government,” said Gopal Baglay, Spokesperson of MEA. "President Trump has himself condemned the killing. The government will remain closely engaged with the authorities in other countries wherever the safety of the Indians is concerned," Baglay added. Baglay’s comments have come after U.S. President Donald Trump, earlier today, said that his country is united in condemning hate and evil in all forms. Earlier on Wednesday, Engineer Srinivas was allegedly shot dead by an American in a Kansas Bar on Wednesday. Two other Indians were injured in the happening that is apparentely being assumed as an incident of hate crime.
