Varanasi (UP), Jun 05 (ANI): To make people aware about conservation of environment and its impact on mankind, children participated in a skating rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi. The rally was organized on the occasion of World Environment Day today. Children wore green costumes to spread the message of a greener environment. This year’s theme of World Environment Day is ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’. Skating coach Rajesh Dogra said, “On World Environment Day today, as we are roller skaters, we have have organised a skating rally to spread awareness about environment among people. Through the participation of children we urge people to not use polythene.”
