Kochi (Kerala), Jan 29 (ANI): In the latest incident of love jihad, NIA has registered a case against a man for allegedly converting his wife to Islam and later trying to take her to Syria. The investigation is being carried under article 65 of the NIA act. There have been various incidents of love jihad from Kerela. The NIA is also probing into Akhila, now Hadiya, who is at the centre of love-jihad controversy, due to her conversion to Islam following her marriage. The apex court will now hear the matter on February 22.
