Rampur (Uttar Pradesh), Jan 18 (ANI): A woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur has alleged that her husband gave her ‘triple talaq’ over demand of bike. She also claimed that her husband use to beat and abuse her. The victim registered a FIR against her husband. The investigating officer said that the FIR has been registered in this regard and further investigation is still underway. However, The Supreme Court struck down triple talaq and declared the Islamic practice unconstitutional in a 3-2 majority verdict on August 22 last year.
