Snow clearance operations underway on Kashmir's arterial road

Poonch (Jammu and Kashmir), Dec 17 (ANI): The historic Mughal Road, which connects Shopian and Poonch districts in Jammu and Kashmir, was closed after fresh bout of snowfall. Snow clearing operations were underway at Mughal Road in Kashmir to restore traffic movement on the arterial route. Mughal Road is the lifeline for the border villages of the valley as it is an important route for the trade and commerce. The road offers the shortest route between Rajouri and Poonch districts. Heavy machinery and workers have been pressed into service to clear the snow.
