Chellanam (Kerala), Dec 03 (ANI): In the wake of Cyclone Ockhi, a raging sea continued to strike the coastal areas of Kerala’s Chellanam. The rising sea level has flooded various residential areas of Chellanam and hundreds of families evacuated their houses as the sea incursion is posing a threat to their lives. People have been shifted to Chellanam rehabilitation shelter to escape the fury of rough sea following the passage of cyclone Ockhi. Multiple districts in Kerala and Tamil Nadu were hit by strong winds and torrential rain bringing life to a standstill.
