Baramulla (Jammu and Kashmir), Sep 26 (ANI): Lashkar e- Islam Chief Abdul Qayoom Najar was killed by security forces in an encounter in Uri earlier today. He had been active in Kashmir for the last 17 years, as per reports. Senior Superintendent of Police Imtiyaz Hussain called the encounter a big relief and informed that Najar was involved in more than 50 incidents of killings of civilians, security forces and improvised explosive device (IED) explosions.
