Assam, July 13 (ANI): Torrential rains have caused havoc in Assam as most of the parts of the state are submerged in water due to flood. More than 17 lakh people have been affected the floods.As many as 24 districts, including Guwahati, Jorhat, Dhubri, Sonitpur, Karimganj and Lakhimpur, are inundated by flood and around 2,488 villages under the districts are under water. Approximately 44 people have already lost their lives as per reports.
