दीपावली व छठ पर्व नजदीक होने पर बड़कागांव प्रखंड तथा आसपास क्षेत्रों में कुम्हारों की चाक की रफ्तार तेज हुई. चीन के उत्पादों के बहिष्कार के लिए एक तरफ से उठ रहे स्वर को देखते हुए दीपावली पर मिट्टी का दिया बनाने वाले कुम्हारों में इस बार नयी उम्मीद जगी है. इसके चलते उनके चाक ने रफ्तार पकड़ ली है. उन्हें उम्मीद है कि अब उनका धंधा रफ्तार पकड़ लेगा. चीन की झालरों ने कुम्हारों का धंधा चौपट कर दिया था, जिससे उन्होंने दीया बनाना भी कम कर दिया था.
