Etawah (UP), Aug 24 (ANI): A doctor in Government District Hospital in Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah left a towel inside a patient’s stomach after operation. The doctor identified as Piyush Tiwari was operating the womb of the woman when he left the towel inside. The doctor charged Rs. 40,000 for the operation. After few days, when the woman complained of stomach pain, the doctor referred her to a nursing home in the same city saying the pain is caused due to cancer. The nursing home charged her Rs. 18,000 after removing the towel from the woman stomach. The woman is bleeding since the last operation.
