Ahmedabad (Gujarat), May 06 (ANI): Japanese Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Masatoshi Akimoto inspected the on-going progress being made on Indo-Japan speed rail project in Ahmedabad. Akimoto visited Ahmedabad’s railway station and the construction site of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) project in Gujarat. MEGA or the Ahmedabad Metro is an under construction mass-transit rail system for Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar in the state. Akimoto, while labeling the site as very difficult and complex area for construction, reiterated Japan’s commitment to meet the expectations of the Indian people and successfully complete the projects.
