Muzaffarnagar (UP), Sep 05 (ANI): A woman who was brought to the district hospital in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar for a medical test by police was allegedly abducted by her family members. Throwing light on the incident Muzaffarnagar Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Omvir Singh said that the woman had got married last month by going against her family. The couple had then moved Allahabad HC for protection. On the court’s directive, local police took her to the district hospital to ascertain her age. Her family got to know she was in the hospital. They had filed a case of abduction against her husband. They along with a large number of people went to the hospital and allegedly abducted the woman. Later the woman was rescued after police launched a search operation. Three people have been arrested so far while raids are on to nab the other attackers. A case has also been registered against the woman’s family members.
