Congress MLA Shakuntala Khatik has been arrested by Karera police for inciting the mob to burn the police station. An FIR has been registered against Shakuntala Khatik and Venus Goyal under the charges of provoking the mob and other sections to resort to violence. Amidst severe violence spread across Mandsaur of Madhya Pradesh and nearby areas during the farmers protest, Congress Woman MLA was seen inciting farmers to set a police station ablaze in a video which was shared by Bharatiya Janata Party leader Kailash Vijayvargiya on his Twitter handle. However, Congress MLA from Shivpuri constituency has brushed aside all the allegations of instigating violence during Mandsaur farmers’ protest.
