INX Media row: Karti Chidambram sent to 3 more days of CBI custody

New Delhi, Mar 06 (ANI): In latest development in connection to the INX Media Case, Special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Court extended Karti Chidambram’s CBI custody by three more days on Tuesday. Further arguments on Karti Chidambram’s bail will be held on March 9. Meanwhile, Karti’s father and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram maintained his silence over the development. Former Finance Minister’s son has been accused of receiving kickbacks to clear foreign investments into INX Media group. He allegedly used influence of his father P Chidambaram, who was then Union Finance Minister. At the time, the company was owned by Peter and Indrani Mukerjea.
