Ahmedabad (Gujarat), May 11 (ANI): Heat wave has taken a grip over different parts of Gujarat. The temperature is expected to hit mercury as high as 45 degree Celsius in some parts of the state coming week. "Due to flow of westerly to north westerly winds Gujarat will see the maximum temperature rising by one to two degree. Temperatures may also reach close to 45 degrees in parts of Surendranagar, Idar and Amreli”, said MeT Gujarat Director Jayanta Sarkar. Meanwhile, MeT Department has issued an orange alert for Ahmedabad.
