'Game of Thrones' rules at 2016 Emmys, wins 'Outstanding Drama Series' award

New Delhi, Sep 19 (ANI): Epic war drama series ‘Game of Thrones’ has won big at the 68th annual Primetime Emmy Awards, as the series took home the award for ‘Outstanding Drama Series’. The fantasy drama series was up against television series ‘The Americans,’ ‘Downton Abbey’, ‘Better Call Saul’, ‘Mr. Robot’ and ‘Homeland’. Game of Thrones also took home the award for the ‘Outstanding Direction’ and ‘Outstanding Writing’ both for episode of the season ‘Battle of the Bastards.’ The 68th annual Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, was held on Sunday in Los Angeles.
