New Delhi, Dec 05 (ANI): Citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s move of demonetisation or, ‘notebandi’, as an ideal example of a crackdown on black money, Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Monday said for the sake of development, new rules should be implemented to control the reproduction rate. He added that India is producing population equal to Australia every year, however, the resources are limited, so national interest must be put above religious interests. The Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises had advocated sterilisation to control population growth at a function in his parliamentary constituency Nawada on Saturday. Singh had said the India needs a strong population control act, including sterilization, as the country was facing a population boom impeding development and social stability.
