Lumding (Assam), Jan 29 (ANI): In a shocking case of suicide, the mother of four children hung herself along with her three daughters on a tree in Lumding under Hojai district, in a forest near their house. The incident occurred at Balunala in Ghurawala Basti. The deceased was identified as Chaniyaka. However, one of her daughters, Jhuma managed to open the knot that was tied around her neck and escaped from the place. After getting the information, Additional SP of Hojai D Das reached the place for further investigation. The reason of the suicide is yet to be known, but after questioning the locals, prima facie of the incident indicates poverty the reason behind the suicide.
