Thane (Maharashtra), Sep 19 (ANI): The Thane Commissioner of Police Parambir Singh on Monday briefed the media about the big catch of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s brother Iqbal Kaskar and said his arrest is a big crackdown by the Maharashtra Police. Singh informed that police were continuously getting the information of an extortion racket being run in Thane and Mumbai area and after convincing a victim to register a complaint, police arrested Dawood’s brother Iqbal Kaskar from sister Haseena Parkar’s flat. Assuring stringent action against the people helping Kaskar, Singh said that police are collecting the evidences against them.
