क्वीन एलिजाबेथ द्वितीय के पति प्रिंस फिलिप का निधन का हो गया है. इस बात की जानकारी बर्किंघम पैलेस ने दी. प्रिंस फिलिप 99 वर्ष के थे. मार्च में वे अस्पताल में भरती थे और इलाज के बाद लौटे थे. वे कोरोना से संक्रमित हो गये थे.
बर्किंघम पैलेस की ओर से जारी बयान में कहा गया है कि क्वीन एलिजाबेथ ने अपने पति की दुखद मौत की जानकारी दी है. प्रिंस फिलिप ड्यूक आॅफ एडिनबर्ग थे.
क्वीन एलिजाबेथ और प्रिंस फिलिप की शादी 1947 में हुई थी. एलिजाबेथ के क्वीन बनने से पांच साल पहले ही उनकी शादी हुई थी.
इनके पहले बेटे प्रिंस चार्ल्स का जन्म 1948 में हुआ था. उसके बाद 1950 में दो राजकुमारियों का जन्म हुआ. 1960 में प्रिंस एंड्रयू और 1964 में प्रिंस एडवर्ड का जन्म हुआ था.
