Majitha (Punjab), Jan 27 (ANI): Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday declared Captain Amarinder Singh as the party’s chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections. Gandhi slammed Punjab’s ruling party Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and its family for being complicit in drug trade and rampant corruption. Gandhi further assured to introduce strict measures to curb the drug menace in the state.
