Chittorgarh (Rajasthan), Mar 31 (ANI): A group of tourists from New Zealand have adopted a village in Rajasthan’s Chittorgarh. The tourists, who visited the historic Chittorgarh Fort back in 2014, were touched upon witnessing poverty on their way to Rajpuria village. Following this, they decided to contribute towards development of the village. The tourists re-visited the region on Thursday and took all children for a movie at nearby theatre. Tourists, with the help of guide and some Indian volunteers, held discussions for assessment of the villagers’ needs. Rajpuria village has a population of around 500 people. The main aim of the group is to educate children of the village.
