Prominent leader of Patidar Movement, Hardik Patel was arrested in Neemuch by Madhya Pradesh police while he was on his way to Mandsaur Madhya Pradesh to meet dependents of farmers killed in police firing during farmers’ protest. Lashing out on authorities, Hardik Patel tagged the arrest as undemocratic act and said that he is not a terrorist from Pakistan and he has all the right to roam free anywhere across the nation. Hardik Patel was accompanied by Akhil Bharatiya Kisan Sabha General Secretary Hannan Mollah.
