बोकारो के गोमिया में हाथियों ने 11 घंटे तक मचाया उत्पात, दहशत में ग्रामीण

बोकारो जिला अंतर्गत गोमिया प्रखंड के अमन गांव में तीन हाथियों ने 11 घंटों तक जमकर उत्पात मचाया. इस दौरान खेतों में लगी फसलों को बर्बाद किया, वहीं आम बागान में लगे पौधों को भी नष्ट किया. हाथियों के उत्पात से डरे-सहमे ग्रामीण छत पर रात गुजारने को विवश हैं.

बोकारो जिला अंतर्गत गोमिया प्रखंड में आता है अमन पहाड़. इस पहाड़ के गांव में तीन जंगली हाथियों ने 11 घंटे तक जमकर उत्पात मचाया. इस दौरान खेत में लगी फसलों को खाते हुए तहस-नहस किया. वहीं, आम बागान में लगे पौधों को भी बर्बाद किया. इसके अलावा सिंचाई के लिए लगे ड्रीप एरिगेशन सिस्टम को भी क्षतिग्रस्त कर दिया. हाथियों के उत्पात से ग्रामीण काफी डरे-सहमे हैं. घर के छत पर रात गुजारने को विवश हुए. ग्रामीणों ने गोमिया के प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी समेत वन विभाग के अधिकारियों को दिया. ग्रामीणों ने जल्द मुआवजा देने की मांग की.
