New Delhi, Nov 30 (ANI): Days after eight-year-old Tajamul Islam scripted history by becoming the first player ever from the sub-junior category to win a gold medal at the World Kickboxing Championship, another Kashmiri boy has made the country proud. Hashim Mansoor, a six-year-old boy from Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district, bagged a gold medal in the recently-held IKU Asian Karate Championship held in the national capital. He represented India in the sub-junior category in the event, which featured participants from across 19 nations. The tournament was held at the Talkatora Stadium from November 28 to 30. The sports champ is likely to represent India in the World Karate Championship to be held in Europe next year.
