New Delhi, Sep 11 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced an increase in the remuneration given to Anganwadi and Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) workers. The announcement, which will be effective from next month, was made during a video interaction with ASHA, Anganwadi and Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) workers on Tuesday. The Prime Minister announced the doubling of routine incentives given by the Union Government to ASHA workers. However, the Anganwari workers appreciated the PM Modi’s efforts.
